Hahaha I remember my daughter rolling her eyes at me for a similar infraction of the "parents are old and should preferably shut up" rule. I can still make her turn pale by calling her "Dude!" My sympathies Sweets - it's so uncool.
Give him a few years Sweets, he'll soon realise that you are KICK ASS. I promise. :) I speak from experience.

I said something similar to a 14 year old last week. His name is Matthew and I jokingly said as he walked past me, "Hello Mattchu" (as if I was sneezing). He turned around to me and said "That's something an 8 year old would say!". Right at that point I felt so old :-(
