whazzup yo?!

goodness gracious me... get me some booze... this is not easy is it?

I'm not really back, i just miss so you damn much!!!

lemme just explain, i have no Internet access anymore, well barely, currently I'm stealing some from my sister... who incidentally offered me access whenever i need it, which is kind of cool... but... there's always a but right... half of the blogging experience is reading your bloggies man... so I'll can blog, no problem... but i can't read any of yours... so tell me, being the spastic techno retard that i am... can i follow your blogs via rss feed or something via my email? if so... ga... we might be in business!

ok so lemme know, seriously...

I'm still on leave, will start the new job on Monday, can't wait!
but on the other hand i could really get used to staying at home, fetching the kids from school... strangely comforting to be around them so much... anyhoodle...damn i have so much to tell you guys it's impossible to even remember one thing... dang... I've been dangerously social this past two weeks, had a lovely bloggirls get together on Saturday and the highlight of the two weeks...

i bought myself two absolutely dreamy dresses yesterday... at a Chinese shop nogal... i know, go figure... but I'm a girl after all and dresses, they make me happy :) the owner of the shop is so funny... all she can say in english is "yes... yes!"... so i used her for some positive reinforcement comments while trying on the dresses... "don't i look great??"... her reply...

yes... yes!!!

tell me my dear Chinese woman, would it not have been a good idea to learn some splanglish or some changlish before stowing away on the first best container heading for our shores?

yes... yes!!

i know... so how long have you been here? your shop has been around for at least two years, and you still don't bother to learn the language, what's up with that? you just wiping your ass on us or what?

yes... yes!!!

*sigh* i give up...

***

ja i know I'm pathetic, i was really determined with the "end" but am really
really
fucking really
missing this shit...

so... I'll ma see... lemme know about the rss thingymabob, maybe i should corner angel and let her enlighten me... oops that just sounded wrong right?

ok... until next time, whenever that might be :)

Glad to see you in action!

I nearly jumped for joy when I saw your name in bold on my reader! I'm also technically incompetent, but I believe there is a way to subscribe by email. I sure hope it works for you!

Whooo! :) I also have no idea...but do corner Angel. She seems to be tech savvy. ;)

what a sweet surprise ;) I know you can definitely get rss, but I keep all my stuff online (google reader rocks!) so I dunno how you can tie it in via email, but there should be stuff you can plug-in to outlook like back in the day the way newsgroups used to work.

Have a Fantastic First Day on Monday :)

YAY!!! Sweet words from Sweets :-)

Okay doll, it depends on your email service provider. I know Yahoo! has a built-in feed reader, but these days a lot of cellphones also have built-in feed readers. Send me a mail and I'll help you set it up :-)

Please don’t not post because you can’t get around. I enjoy reading what you write.

As Sunny wrote, you can subscribe to blogs that you want to read via Atom or other services. For example, I have subscription links on my sidebar just below the visitor counter thingie.

As for the Chinese woman not yet speaking English, in the county where I pastored a church back in the '80s there where third generation Americans whose ancestors had come to the United States from Switzerland who couldn’t speak English. That was because, in the closed community in which they lived, they never needed to learn it.

YAY!!! We knew you couldn't leave us. Just post as and when you can. As for the RSS Feeder thingy...um...I'm illiterate with all that stuff.

hey sweets!
there must be a way to get them emailed with the rss thingymabob, as i know a few people who do it that way... sheesh, i sound smart eh!!?
but i just know my glugs will be able to help you!

We want you back, sweets!

Not sure how to get email feeds and stuff (I'm not too IT-savvy) but I'm sure there's going to be some brightspark who'll tell you how to do it.

In the meantime - look after you (and get 'net access, dammit!!!)

OOOh boy!!.. We missed you!!

I still check your site everyday.. sad and pathetic that I am...lol!

LOL@chinese lady.. you should let me know where her shop is.. I could do with the positive re-inforcement!!

MWAH!

Slyde said...

i'd say your best bet would be to just subscribe to google and keep your blogs there.

I notice the same experience Sometimes Saintly Nick has. There are huge pockets of communities in the United States where people do not speak English.

One time I went into Starbucks (which is in a neighborhood concentrated with Russians) and I was trying to tell this Russian man AND his friend that their drink was up, but he didn't understand me.

Then in some parts of California there are huge communities of Hispanics who don't understand English either.

It is as if these people segregated themselves from the rest of the locals, you know?

It's interesting, yet, I think it would help them if they learned a little bit of English. Even if it is just "yes, yes" :)

You can subscribe via email... especially if the person has Feedburner on their sites.
The other option is to set up the RSS thing from Outlook 2007 (if you're using that) - there's actually an RSS reader built in.
Good luck with the new job!!! I'm quite jealous about the dresses, I'm struggling to find nice stuff this season

Woohoo! You're back ... nope I'm not going to say that it's just temporary because I'm going to cast a spell on you and before you know it you'll be totally under our control and so when we collectively tell you to jump your response every time will be "How high?". Oh you may laugh at that but I bet you the belt on my jeans that it'll become a reality ;-)

About the rss thingy ... I guess if you sweet talked us all enough we could possibly maybe nicely copy our posts to your email addy. But like I said you really would have to grovel on your hands and knees for that to happen :-P
